The second generation of Mazda’s CX-5 will be officially unveiled for the first time at next month’s Frankfurt Motorshow, the car’s makers have said. Mazda said the latest version of its small off-roader, which has an all-new chassis, body, engine range and transmission, is the first of the company’s cars to embrace their new design theme, called “KODO – Soul of Motion.”
A company spokesperson said:
“Unique themes of the KODO design theme include a prominent new frontal treatment with a bolder Mazda family face and more dynamic styling that conveys a strong sense of vitality and agility.”
The new CX-5 is expected to arrive in the UK early next year.
