Mazda MX5 reinvents itself again.
Two new Mazdas which take their inspiration from the company’s latest racing car are making their way to the company’s showrooms.
Earlier this year a motorsport version of the MX-5 with no less than 275bhp at its disposal made its debut in the Britcar Production GTN Championship – taking on Porsche, Lotus and Ferrari racers in the process – and to celebrate the company’s created the “Black Limited Version” of its 2 supermini, which promises to bring a darker and sportier edge to the range.
But it’s the similar treatment to the open-top MX-5 which ought to get keen drivers excited, because while it doesn’t have the race car’s tuned engined it does get a similar paint scheme and added options thrown in.
The limited edition treatment, available to order now, costs £12,395 for the 2 supermini and £22,995 for the MX-5 roadster.
