Honda has confirmed it is preparing a load-lugging version of its Civic for next month’s Geneva Motor show.
The Civic Wagon – or estate in layman speak – might be officially billed as a concept car, but the Japanese giant have already said it’s very close to what the actual production, which will be built in the firm’s Swindon factory later this year.
The company said in a statement: “Honda will be taking the wraps off the Civic Wagon concept model which strongly hints at the design direction of the final production version.”
This new derivative will strengthen the Civic range and will be built at Honda’s manufacturing facility in Swindon.
Honda will also be showing the latest version of a replacement for
the NSX super car at the Swiss show.
