Audi has revealed its new Q3
Audi has new a mini Q model the Q3 to join the larger Q5 and Q7 models in the manufacturer’s SUV range and is set to compete against the likes of the Range Rover Evoque and BMW X1.
The Q3 has 460 litres of boot space with the rear seats in place. However, if you drop the seats and this increases to 1,365 litres seriously beating the BMW X1 by 930 litres
There is a choice of three engines – the entry level petrol model has a 2.0-litre TFSI with 168bhp that comes with a six-speed manual gearbox, while the flag ship will have a 2.0 TFSI with 208bhp.
Initially the only diesel option is a 2.0 TDI making 175bhp, however a lower-powered 2.0 TDI with 138bhp version will be available in the entry level front-wheel-drive model.
The best mpg is expected to come from the 138bhp 2.0 TDI engine with figures estimated at around 54mpg.
The Q3 will be available in November with SE and S-Line models to choose from and prices starting from £25,000.
