BMW 6-Series estate shooting brake interpretation of next the coupe is set to debut at Paris show to rival Mercedes CLS shooting brake.
Adrian van Hooydonk has designed a concept car which is due to be unveiled at the Paris Motor show in October. Production will depend on how much interest the car creates at the show and what public reaction is.
The 6 series Shooting Brake is an extension based on the Gran Coupe four door which BMW are hoping will expand the appeal of the new generation of the 6 series range.
BMW may even reuse its Gran Turismo name for this new 6 series model if it decides to go into production.
The car will use the same engines as the new 6-Series by way of 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol and diesel units, as well as a range-topping 4.4-litre V8, with possibilities to bring in a hybrid version.
