A ROUGH ‘n’ ready version of Audi’s A6 is being launched for go-getting outdoor types in July, it has been confirmed this week.

A ROUGH ‘n’ ready version of Audi’s A6 is being launched for go-getting outdoor types in July, it has been confirmed this week.

The company said that the third generation of the A6 Allroad, a four-wheel-drive version of the regular Avant estate with added ground clearance and tougher bodywork, will start at £43,150.

An Audi spokesperson said of the new arrival: “The Audi A6 Avant reveals its even tougher and more intrepid alter ego this week as the new, third generation A6 allroad quattro opens for UK order combining rugged looks with the all-weather reassurance of quattro all-wheel-drive and four-level height adjustable air suspension.
”Like the saloon and ‘standard’ Avant, the A6 allroad quattro has been constructed using the latest Audi ultra lightweight construction principles.“

The Allroad will come with a choice of four V6 engines – three diesels and a petrol – and be equipped with the company’s famous Quattro four-wheel-drive-system as standard
