According to Audi the new Audi A7 Sportback will be available to order from August 16.
Prices starting from £42,925 (£43,745 at the new rate of 20% VAT)
The new A7 model officially goes on sale in January 2011 with a choice of two petrol engines the 2.8 TFSi and 3.0 TFSi. With a further choice of two diesel engines being the 3.0 Tdi – 202ps and 3.0 Tdi – 243ps from launch.
All engines will be available with Start/stop technology and a seven-speed S tronic twin-clutch sports transmission will also be available on the Quattro models.
The A7 has similar styling of the smaller A5 Sportback.
Audi suggests this approach gives customers the option of saloon car versatility, hatchback practicality combined with the good looks of a coupe.
Options include adaptive air suspension, parallel park assist, head-up display and all-LED headlights.
